Not all indoor attractions are dog friendly so check ahead.
Many of the pubs and cafes around the Lakes district are however dog friendly and you will receive a warm welcome to take cover from the odd downpour.
Within easy reach of Fellside Lodge, on the Bowness Marina is the Bowness and Windermere Information Centre and Café.
