Fellside Lodge-24.jpg

Fellside Lodge is a three-bedroom, three-bathroom property, comfortably sleeping six, which has been lovingly renovated by the current owners to the highest standard. Care has been taken to maintain the lodge's existing features and to reflect the Lakeland style using locally sourced materials and using local tradespeople who fully understand what the Lake District National Park stands for.

The ground floor of Fellside Lodge is split onto two levels which makes it unique and characterful. As you enter through the front porch the ground floor opens into a well-furnished sitting room with a charming window seat and log burning stove. The room feels cosy and welcoming.

Off the sitting room is our gallery style dining area also with a log burning stove and an ambient feel making it ideal for an intimate dinner party.

Positioned between the sitting room and dining room is our snug which includes a library of lakeland books, walking guides and maps. There is an antique sofa to relax on and a space to work. Relax here after dinner with a book, work remotely if it’s a necessity or plan your day with our selection of walking books and maps or information on things to do in the area.

Beyond the dining area and down a few steps to a lower level is our spacious, well equipped kitchen with American Fridge/Freezer, gas cooker with double oven and stone floor. Off the kitchen there is a cloakroom (WC), the cellar entrance and access to the back of the house through a charming stable door.

Heading down into the cellar, via stone steps, you will find a fully equipped utility room, space for storing wet coats or muddy boots and our dog bath and drying facility. Perfect for keeping our four-legged friends clean and happy after some long Lakeland walks.

A door off the sitting room leads down an oak staircase to one of three bedrooms. This bedroom has an en-suite shower room, a luxurious free-standing bath within the bedroom and a king-size bed.
